Service Club Membership Overview


Bi-annual service/maintenance program for the HVAC systems and accessories that you have in your home or office are most commonly necessary to keep the warranty in effect through the manufacturer as well as to optimize reliability, maximum performance and efficiency.

Service Club Membership includes: (2) Visits per year: (1) one cooling & (1) one heating to perform a precision tune up, a professional cleaning and a thorough safety inspection (Note: Additional visits available upon request with additional charge)

Cooling Visit:

  • Check blower housing/wheel for cleanliness
  • Clean/Clear condensate drains
  • Lubricate condenser fan motor (if required)
  • Basic wash of condenser coil for maximum efficiency
  • Check refrigerant charge for proper cooling temperatures and pressures (Conventional Air conditioners, air source heat pumps and Geothermal Split system heat pumps)
  • Perform equipment temperature and pressure drops and testing on the water loop side (Geothermal equipment)
  • Test and adjust loop temperature and pressure drops for maximum heat of rejection/extraction (Geothermal equipment)(Note: When balance valves are available)
  • Check indoor blower speeds and CFM to match system sizing
  • Tighten and check all wiring connections for safety and corrosion
  • Check temperature drop across indoor coil for proper variances per manufacturer specifications
  • Clean and polish exterior equipment (Conventional Air conditioners and heat pumps)
  • Check safety switches and devices
  • Test thermostat for proper operation
  • Check for proper compressor & motor amperage per manufacturers specifications
  • Inspect and check motor capacitors, contactors and connections
  • Inspect duct system for any visual leakage and performance loss
  • Replace standard 1” filter as required

Heating Visit:

  • Inspect and check heat exchanger for cracks or holes (Gas Furnace equipment)
  • Check and adjust incoming gas manifold pressure to meet manufacturer specifications as required(Gas Furnace equipment)
  • Lubricate all moving parts and motors (if required))
  • Inspect and check vent piping for proper venting and rise (Gas Furnace equipment)
  • Check refrigerant charge for proper heating temperatures and pressures (Air source heat pumps and Geothermal Split system heat pumps)
  • Perform equipment temperature and pressure drops and testing on the water loop side (Geothermal equipment)
  • Test and adjust loop temperature and pressure drops for maximum heat of rejection/extraction (Geothermal equipment) (Note: When balance valves are available)

  • Test indoor fan and furnace limit safeties as required
  • Check temperature rise across heat exchanger (Gas Furnace equipment)
  • Clean and adjust burners for maximum efficiency (Gas Furnace equipment)
  • Tighten and check all wiring connections for safety and corrosion
  • Test thermostat for proper calibration and heat anticipation setting
  • Inspect thermocouple/igniter for proper burn and/or ignition setting (Gas Furnace equipment)
  • Check indoor blower speeds and CFM to match system sizing
  • Check for proper compressor & motor amperage per manufacturers specifications
  • Clean and polish furnace or air handler exterior
  • Inspect duct system for any visual leakage and performance loss
  • Replace standard 1” filter as required
